What is the normal turn around time for an order?

The turn around time depends on the order, in all cases, we get the job done as fast as possible. For an average job, the turn around time is 2-3 business days, but it all depends on size, quantity, availability, etc. We always try to meet any of your deadline requests. In some instances, a minimal rush fee may be applied but will be discussed at time of order placement.

How should I give you my artwork?

It all depends on what kind of product we are producing. If we are doing a 1 color vinyl sign/banner the best format is Corel Draw. In most cases, if you can give it to us in Corel Draw format it’s usually the best. We can also use a PDF or EPS file. They tend to work great most of the time. These type of files are usually what is needed to avoid any art charges. If we are doing embroidery for you, then we would need what is called a DST file, which most people don’t have the means to save a file as. This results in us having to digitize the file and convert them within an embroidery program so the embroidery machine can read the fills and lines as stitches instead of line-art. There is a nominal fee for digitizing, but it is a one-time charge for each design.

What programs let me save in vector formats?

Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator are the major software makers out there. Photoshop can export illustrator paths, and some other programs are also able to export their paths to illustrator file formats. We prefer to use Corel Draw and can handle anything from Corel Draw Version 8 to Version 17.

What is Vector art?

Vector art such as Svg, Eps, and sometimes Pdf files are kind of like line art. It’s when the image is made with paths and fills. It’s the only format you can use for cutting vinyl and to keep the resolution of an image from breaking up and becoming blurry upon expansion.

Raster images such as Jpeg, Gif, Png, and Bmp files are one set size and do not expand or decrease as well in size when needed and are not meant for cut files.Vector Art vs Jpeg
